Every day the earth is producing plenty food to provide enough food for each inhabitant of the world. Plenty Food shares the opinion that the production of vegetable diet is much more efficacious and cheaper than the cultivation of crops for the meat- and dairy industry. For the production of one kilogram meat there needs five kilogram cattle-fodder and the forage. The growth and production of the animals is coming from countries where people starve and suffer from malnutrition.
Besides education about the global food shortage, Plenty Food likes to create and support food projects in developing countries. Our starting point at the production of food is to maintain the balance between humans, plants and animals as much as is possible. This not only applies agriculture, but also the living climate in its entirety. We strive for biological vegetable agriculture and are against the use of genetic modified organism.
